Background

Barron Krody graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. The school has been a part of the Cincinnati Art Museum for more than 130 years. He was a freelance graphic designer and full time instructor for seventeen years before becoming a founding partner in WBK Marketing, Design, Internet in 1979.  For his art and design he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Art Directors Club of Cincinnati.

Statement

"Summering on the coast of Maine and living on the Long Island Sound in Stony Brook, New York provide the inspiration for my work. Each painting is created to present what I see with a special sensitivity to color and light.  I paint what I see as I want it to be."
